Wine lovers won't want to miss out on our tastings at Highland Wine & Spirits! This Saturday, we're tasting Black Stallion Wines' Napa Valley and North Coast wines! This lineup includes their North Coast Chardonnay and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. We hope to see you here!

North Coast Chardonnay

This rich and flavorful North Coast Chonnary comes from fruit from a variety of distinctive terroirs. Each of these premier North Coast sub-appellations contributes unique characteristics to the final blend. Fruit is picked at proper ripeness and acidity, with portions being fermented on French oak and stirred gently once a week to enhance body and creaminess. Finally, this results in the Chardonnay opening with aromas of orange blossom, lemon curd, and toasted almonds followed by tantalizing flavors of luscious fruit, toasted bread, caramel, and a light butter finish.

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich and refined wine does not require years of further aging to achieve ideal balance and enjoy upon release. The full-bodied structure is a hallmark. The wine opens with stunning aromas of blackberry, black currant, and toasty notes of cedar. The palate is concentrated with bold, velvety flavors of black cherry and a hint of spice. Intense, concentrated fruit and fine-grained tannins with beautifully balanced acidity extend to an elegant finish.

Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc

The fruit used to craft Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc was picked in the cool, early morning and then gently pressed. The juice was settled for 24 hours and then given yeast to start fermentation. The wine was transferred to small stainless-stell tanks and fermented at low temperatures over a few weeks. The long, cool fermentation retains vibrant aromatics and bright acidity. This Sauvignon Blanc opens with vibrant, tropical aromas of mango, lemongrass, and honeysuckle. Complimented by flavors of lime, lemon, ripe tropical fruit, and jasmine. This wine offers bright acidity, light to medium body, and a juicy, long finish.
