Local Event
Though France and South Africa have vastly different soils and climates, they share some of the same grape varieties! We are thrilled to offer the opportunity for you to taste them side by side, and learn the similarities and differences of each. This is a fantastic way to experience the terrior (climate, soil, and topography) and its effects on each variety.
We are welcoming special guests Rick Hetzel from Tramonte Distributing Co., and Megan Buehrer from Skurnik Wines and Spirits. They will guide you through the evening while showcasing the wines from each region. Plus, you will enjoy a spread of cheese, crackers, bread, grapes, nuts and jams to enhance your tasting experience! Please note that this is a standing event in our retail store.
