September 5th & November 7th Carlton Art Walks
Featuring Joie de Vin: A Showcase of Robin Brown's Mosaics Celebrating the Joy of Wine
We are delighted to present an art exhibit celebrating the joy of wine, featuring the intricate mosaics of local artist Robin Brown.
Robin's mosaic pieces uniquely repurpose various wine-related mementos collected both locally and from her European travels, as well as treasures from her former life in Hong Kong. Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi, which joins shattered elements with gold to embrace imperfections and create something more resilient and exquisite, her work offers a fresh perspective on the history of wine and the pleasure of imbibing.
This exhibition aligns with the Carlton Art Walk on September 5th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and will be on display throughout the month. Robin will also be featuring her art with us again for one day only during the Carlton Art Walk on November 7th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
Join us for the opening reception and then stroll through the quaint town of Carlton while enjoying the vibrant food and wine scene and viewing the work of featured artists at Big Table Farm, Flâneur Wines, Marshall Davis, K&M Wines, The Horse Radish, Earth & Sea, and the Blind Pig.
