If there's one winery offering a true taste of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in France, it's Pegau. This family-owned winery is a favorite for both experts and novices. Pegau expresses the authentic character of the region through rich, earthy, and flavorful wines.
Join us for this can't-miss dinner where Pegau is not only pouring three of the best vintages from the last 20 years (2007, 2010, 2016), plus we're opening an extremely rare and limited Pegau bottle: 2016 Domaine du Pegau 'Les Gouttes de Dieu'.
Fans of the Japanese Manga Drops of God will recognize this wine from the show, where they enjoyed the same amazing vintage we're pouring. There are only 25 bottles of this masterpiece in the United States — don't miss your chance to enjoy it with us.
At this dinner hosted by Justine Feraud of the Pegau family, you'll also dine on an exquisite menu paired to each wine, prepared by Wally's chefs.
Reception: Comte cheese gougère, hamachi tartare, smoked salmon blinis
First Course: American Wagyu Tartare, shaved parmesan, grilled whole wheat bread
Second Course: Bincho grilled quail, creamy corn mill polenta, pickled mushroom
Third Course: Rotisserie duck apicius in two service: sliced breast, market cherries, tokyo turnips; and lacquered duck leg salad
Dessert: Strawberry panna cotta, market berries, broken macaron
