Peter Dredge's journey into winemaking began in 1998 with a gap year at Petaluma Wines in Adelaide Hills, Australia. In a real mail-room-to-CEO kind of story, he went from scrubbing the wine tanks to filling them as their Senior Winemaker, specializing in white and sparkling wines.

After a career that took him to Germany, Hungary, Italy, and France, he eventually made his way to Hobart, Tasmania where he started Dr. Edge in 2015. Dredge / Dr. Edge -- get it?

Averaging only 900 cases annually, his wines are very limited. Which is a shame, cuz they're flipping delicious. Wine Enthusiast agrees, giving his Chardonnay and Pinot Noir 94 and 95 points respectively. The Dr. knows what he's doing, and you're not gonna want to miss it.
