Local Event
Celebrate what we love most about the holiday season -- a mug filled with warm bevvies, shopping, and showing love to our local businesses! Enjoy a self-guided stroll through Downtown Evanston on Thursday, December 12 from 4-7PM, stopping in local businesses for a tasty sip, and finding unique gifts for everyone on your holiday shopping list.
Warm Bevvy Walk tickets are $10/person, and $5 of every ticket sale will benefit the Rotary Club of Evanston. The Club is leading a service project in partnership with Watts of Love and the Rotary Club of Moshi, Tanzania to provide hand-held solar-powered lights to communities without electricity. This initiative will help these rural communities to break free from "energy poverty" and lead them on a path to economic development.
STEP 1: Purchase your Warm Bevvy Walk tickets from this website - and invite friends to join you!
STEP 2: Check-in on Thursday, December 12:
If you're participating in the Warm Bevvy Walk, there will be a check-in location at the Rotary International Visitors Center, 1560 Sherman Avenue, where you will pick up a map of participating businesses and your very own custom (and reusable) warm bevvy mug! For questions, please email info@DowntownEvanston.org.
STEP 3: Stroll through Downtown Evanston at your own pace, visiting any/all of the participating businesses below.
PARTICIPATING BUSINESSES:
And more businesses to be added soon!
After your stroll, grab dinner at one of the many fabulous restaurants in Downtown Evanston, some of which will be offering special holiday cocktails or mocktails!
A special thanks to Hagerty Consulting for helping to sponsor the 2024 Warm Bevvy Walk! Sorry, there are no refunds for this event. If you can't make it on December 12, but still would like your reusable mug, please contact info@DowntownEvanston.org.
If you're driving into Downtown Evanston for the Warm Bevvy Walk, we recommend parking in the Sherman Plaza Self Park garage--it's only two blocks away from the Rotary building. More information about parking. Downtown Evanston is also easily accessible by bike, bus or train!
