Beloved Washington D.C. chef-partners and 2025 James Beard Outstanding Restaurateur semifinalists Danny Lee and Scott Drewno are known throughout the country’s capital for their restaurant group, Fried Rice Collective. Their first concept, CHĪKO, is a playful mix of Chinese and Korean cuisines and cultures and was awarded three stars from the Washington Post and was a James Beard Best New Restaurant Semifinalist upon opening.
For this one-night-only dinner, the duo will reimagine CHĪKO as a fine-dining concept featuring elevated and innovative dishes like their signature shrimp and grits with garlic XO sauce.
