Led by the team behind Kisa, the new Korean diner and 2025 James Beard Award Best New Restaurant semifinalist, guests will enjoy a curated banchan experience to discover the rich history, vibrant culture, and dynamic flavors of banchan.
Kisa's talented chefs will lead a banchan demonstration that showcases their 'Baekban' home-style menu, which reflects the offerings of a traditional Kisa Sikdang '기사식당' – “driver’s restaurant” – a concept that emerged in Korea in the 1980s to serve taxi drivers along major routes.
Guests will enjoy Kisa's signature platters featuring a variety of authentic, seasonal banchan alongside their Spicy Pork entrée. The experience will be rounded out with Korean spirits such as Ninome Tangerine Soju, a unique soju from Jeju Island in Korea that is rarely found in New York.
