At long last, Cathy’s debut cookbook, The Italian Summer Kitchen, showcases a culinary tour of Italy, bringing together the best of each region’s local ingredients and dishes. In time for summer, join Cathy for a festive evening delving into Italy’s beloved tradition of aperitivo. More than a pre-dinner drink, it’s a ritual of gathering with friends to unwind from the day and celebrate la dolce vita over refreshing beverages and salty bites. Chef Cathy will share a few of her favorite tramezzino, the small triangular Italian sandwich that's fancy on the inside, easy on the outside. Guests will learn how to recreate their own versions while sipping on spritzes and snacking on plenty of aperitivi.
