Master Knife Skills with Kikuichi Cutlery, Yama Seafood, and Chef Kaz Iimori

Join us for a hands-on fish knife skills class featuring premium seafood from Yama Seafood, Kikuichi Cutlery knives, and expert instruction from chef Kazutaka Iimori, former head chef at Blue Ribbon Sushi.

In this immersive experience, you’ll learn the art of handling and preparing fish with precision, tradition, and the finest Japanese knives while preparing your own chirashi bowl. This intimate class will give you a better understanding of Japanese fish preparation techniques. Chef Kaz limori will teach attendees how to expertly break down a whole Madai (Japanese sea bream) using traditional Japanese methods and guests will learn how to use every part of the fish to create a rich, flavorful miso soup.

Additionally, participants will have the chance to put their knife skills to the test by preparing a beautiful chirashi bowl with premium sashimi-grade fish and an assortment of toppings and garnishes. Whether you're a professional chef or an enthusiastic home cook, this is a rare opportunity to learn from a master chef, work with world-class seafood, and experience the precision of Kikuichi knives in action.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try Kikuichi knives during the class and may elect to purchase them at the end.
