A LITTLE ABOUT TOMASZ AND APTEKA:
Tomasz Skowronski and his partner, Kate Lasky, are co-chefs and co-owners of APTEKA, a Central and Eastern European restaurant that they opened in 2016. The restaurant draws inspiration from Skowronski’s first generation Polish heritage, Lasky’s multi-generation Pittsburgh roots, and the couple's travel through the former Eastern Bloc. Apteka is a hyper-DIY, scratchmade, and entirely vegan project.

PLEASE NOTE that this a fixed menu, and while we do our best to accommodate guests regarding food allergies, menu substitutions may not be possible. Unfortunately, this is not a nut-free dinner and our kitchen is not a nut-free facility, and gluten-free options are not available for this meal.

A Little About Our Guest Chef Dinners:
In our commercial and training kitchen, Guest Chef Dinner events give our culinary training students the opportunity to work with chefs from across Pittsburgh and gain valuable work experience. Proceeds from these events go right back into our nonprofit's training and transitional employment programs.
