City Harvest's signature tasting event, City Harvest Presents BID 2024: CHTV!, is the city's premier tasting event and is back for another year. This year's event will bring together the biggest names in the culinary industry to support City Harvest's work rescuing high-quality food that would otherwise go to waste and delivering it, for free, to help feed the millions of New Yorkers struggling to make ends meet.
With this year's electrifying CHTV! theme, guests will be transported back to the iconic era of '80s music videos as they taste food and drinks from over 50 of New York City's best chefs, restaurants, and mixologists. Attendees can expect a night of dancing, live entertainment, and surprises.
This year's event will also feature an array of culinary titans and acclaimed restaurants, including Geoffrey Zakarian, Eric Ripert, Marcus Samuelsson, Emma Bengtsson, Marc Forgione, Markus Glocker, Andrew Carmellini, Cedric and Ochi Vongerichten, Stefano Secchi, COTE Korean Steakhouse, Rao's, Nami Nori, and more.
Additionally, the event will have an exclusive VIP area with a caviar section and new "double stations" featuring some of the city's best sister restaurants, including Don Angie and San Sabino, COQODAQ and COTE, and Ma•dé and Wayan.
Every dollar raised at the event will go towards City Harvest's mission to feed the millions of struggling New Yorkers. Last year's BID was a record-setting evening, raising enough to help feed nearly 4 million New Yorkers, and City Harvest is not expecting this year to be any different!
