Join us for an exciting upcoming workshop where you’ll learn to create your very own ceramic pitcher from scratch! Discover the art of sculpting using clay slabs and templates, guided by expert instructors. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience with ceramics, this hands-on workshop will help you develop your skills and bring your creative vision to life. To make the experience even more enjoyable, we’ll be serving refreshing sangria and sharing our favorite sangria recipe. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the joy of working with clay, sip on delicious sangria, and take home a beautiful, handcrafted pitcher. All Materials included.

What’s Included:

The price listed is $120 per person and it inlcudes an Instructor-led 2 hour class . All clay, tools and aprons will be included, as well as the two firings and glazing of your clay creations. Sangria and complementary snacks are also included. A studio tech will be handling your work and applying a glaze color. A courtesy text will be sent out when your works is ready for pickup.

The Aftermath:

After your class, we will be processing your works in our studio. First, the piece must be allowed to get ‘bone dry’, then it will be fired to bisque ware. Then one of our studio techs will glaze your work for you, and then it will be put back on the shelves to await the next glaze firing. Please allow two to four weeks lead times. Disclaimer: Mercado Art Studio can store your works for up to two weeks after your first notification, and our staff will send you up to two courtesy reminder texts, but after two weeks, all works will be donated.

Mercado Art Studio is a beautiful and welcoming clay studio that has been serving the Hallandale Beach community for over two years now, and before that with a location in Downtown Hollywood for five years.

We offer;

• One time beginner classes for wheel throwing,

• handbuilding,

• pottery painting and mosaics projects,

• four and eight week courses for those who want to learn more,

• monthly memberships that come with unlimited access to the studio and a locker to store your things,

• firing services for people who want to utilize our kilns, and we’re also a store where you can come in a buy beautiful finished works by our members, or to buy clay or tools.

There is plenty of free parking right in front and back of the studio, and we are conveniently located East of the I95 in Hallandale Beach.
