It’s been a few years since we visited the Bordeaux region of France. Bordeaux is a region known primarily for elegant and intense red wines (about 80% of the wine production). However, this classic French appellation also produces some beautiful whites and rosés, along with some stellar dessert wines. The wines made here are almost always BLENDS of two or more varieties. Blending is the key to achieving the complex flavors of Bordeaux wines. This class will focus on the many sub-appellations of Bordeaux as we take a virtual tour down the Garonne and Dordogne rivers into the heartland. And Bordeaux tastes so great in Autumn weather!
