Kirsten "Kitty" Amann, Trade Advocacy Specialist and Market Manager at Uncle Nearest, will guide us through the captivating history behind the brand. Uncle Nearest honors Nathan "Nearest" Green, the first known African-American master distiller, whose story was once largely unknown outside of Tennessee. Discover how his legacy, once forgotten, became the foundation of what is now a renowned whiskey brand. As we taste through the lineup, we'll discuss how we are building a brand that will outlive us, and raise a glass to cement his legacy!

She is the Northeast Trade Advocacy Specialist and New England Market Manager for Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey and is the author of Drinking Like Ladies: 75 Modern Cocktails from the World’s Leading Female Bartenders. In both roles she is honored to share untold stories of greatness and help the truth find the light.
