Situated in Italy's ruggedly beautiful northern peaks resting against Austria, Alto Adige produces compelling wines that seem to capture the very essence of the Alps. Once part of Austria, the influence lives on not just in place names but also grapes like Gewürztraminer, Pinot Grigio, and Schiava brought by the Habsburgs. In this class, we will learn how snow-capped mountains, glacial streams, and mountain breezes shape Alto Adige’s alpine terroir.
Boot camp wine classes are one hour long and include 4 taste-size pours and a food pairing.
