Fantini Boutique Wine Estates, from Abruzzo in east Italy, are with us for one special night in May!

The ‘greenest region’ of Italy, in Abruzzo the high peaks of the Apennine Mountains rise close to the coast of the Adriatic Sea, creating a unique microclimate, where Fantini winegrowers have developed production criteria with a low environmental impact.

And they’re with us to take us through their premium range and tell us stories of the region while we enjoy six pairing courses created to complement the flavours.

We’re at La Brezza for this winemaker dinner, one of Calgary’s long-time favourite Italian restaurants. Second generation, Maurizio and Medina are upholding their family legacy with many traditional and original recipes, but Chef Luca Brunelli is also introducing some more modern Italian dishes too, and he’s creating a special menu for us for this special evening!
