As we explore the changes in the food scene throughout Texas during the last thirty years, let's celebrate the rise of Thai food with one of the best. Chef Nikky, of Asian Mint fame, will introduce you to four delightful dishes in this festive 30th anniversary celebration menu that are easy to execute and certainly deliver on flavor. You can sit back, relax and enjoy sampling each dish while taking in her tips and picking up tips on traditional techniques.

For ages 18 & up. 21 or older? You'll enjoy a glass of wine with the meal.

Chef Nikky's newly release cookbook, Thai Food & Travel with Chef Nikky: Easy Thai Recipes to Feed Your Soul, will be available for sale.

ABOUT NIKKY PHINYAWATANA

Chef Nikky (Nikky Phinyawatana) was born in Dallas to an American mom and an Asian dad. Shortly after she was born, her family moved to Thailand, where she grew up experiencing a unique, tasty blend of multicultural, "Texas Thai" cooking. Her Asian family taught her how to make simple things like fried rice taste absolutely delicious, and she learned how to select the freshest vegetables and meats. Her Texan family taught her how to bake scrumptious country-style cakes and cookies. This “Texas Thai/Asian Fusion” upbringing ignited Nikky’s deep passion for food, culture, and travel.

Asian Mint has receive many awards and accolades including Eater Dallas #1 Best Thai Food; CultureMap Dallas’ Top 100 Restaurants; USA Today Featured restaurant; Zagat Featured restaurant; and TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Safety & Precautions

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.

• For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
