Since 2009, Grand Cru Selections has been introducing some of the world’s most exceptional wines to the United States, with a particular focus on Grower Champagne—small-batch, artisanal producers that beautifully reflect the uniqueness of their terroir. This special dinner will showcase the remarkable Champagnes of Adrien Bergère, Pierre Péters, and Chartogne-Taillet.
Adrien Bergère, from the Vallée du Petit Morin, represents a winemaking tradition that dates back to 1848. His masterful use of solera methods and barrel aging produces rich, terroir-driven Champagnes of extraordinary depth. Pierre Péters, a sixth-generation producer from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, has been crafting Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs since 1919. Under Rodolphe Péters' leadership since 2007, the house continues to highlight the chalky soils that give their Champagnes a distinctive purity and elegance. Chartogne-Taillet, led by Alexandre Chartogne, reflects the rich geological diversity and history of Merfy, bringing an authentic sense of place to every bottle.
