Local Event
The Azalea Street Beer and Wine Extravaganza, taking place Saturday, November 16 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, is a fundraiser for the Garden Oaks Constable Program. With the annual Wine Walk growing in interest over the years, we've transitioned to a larger outdoor venue: Azalea Street!
Table hosts consisting of neighbors and local businesses will be stationed up and down the 800 Block of Azalea Street, pouring a different beer or wine for you sample. Light bites may also be provided by hosts.
Confirmed table hosts to date:
All ticket purchases will be donated to the Garden Oaks Constable Program. The Constable Program provides for one contracted constable, provided by the Harris County Constable's Office to patrol all five Garden Oaks sections at 40 hours a week ($90,000 annual cost). The Constable Program's main objectives are crime prevention and immediate service to any citizen in need. They provide a highly visible neighborhood patrol and a much quicker response time than the Houston Police Department.

Upon arrival to the event, please check in at the registration table to receive a wristband and wine glass. Check in will be located in front of Triangle Park, where Azalea St. meet Alba Rd.
Minimal street parking will be available on the surrounding streets, so we encourage you to walk, bike, or use a rideshare option to the event.
This is an adults-only event, please leave all kids and pets at home. No smoking is allowed during the event.
