About the Event

Join the Wineries of Start On Steiner as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Spring into Zin on Sunday, April 13th, 2025!

Amador County is home to some of the oldest and best Zinfandel vines in the country and many of us here on Steiner Road use these vines to produce exquisite Zinfandel wines. Spring into Zin is a true celebration of this varietal that has a storied history in Amador County.

During the event, you will have the opportunity to explore the Steiner Road wineries and discover the finesse, elegance, history, and diversity of our unique terroir on Amador County’s First Wine Trail. The wineries of Steiner Road will be showcasing a selection of their wines with a focus on Zinfandel. Selections will range from old vines, to blends, current releases, and barrel tastings that will be perfectly paired with unique small food bites that will tell the story of the Mediterranean origins of California's favorite varietal, Zinfandel.

Tickets are now on sale for Spring into Zin 2025! Ticket holders will be able to visit up to five of the eight participating wineries. Event tickets are available for $60 and designated driver tickets for $10. Purchase your tickets before March 31st to get $10 off regular event tickets (does not apply to designated driver tickets).

How it works

You will have approximately 1 hour for your visit at each of the participating wineries on the day of the event and will be able to visit up to five participating wineries during the event. Please place your order on the ticket page for the winery that you will be visiting first at 11am on the day of the event. The winery location you select as your starting location will have your event glasses, wristbands, and event passports. Please select only one winery as your starting location. Reservations are not required at the participating wineries with the exception of selecting your starting location when purchasing your event tickets. Participating Wineries' Event Offerings

Bella Grace Vineyards - Spring into the Zin experience with a variety of zinfandel and zinfandel blends at Bella Grace. As part of your Bella Grace experience, we offer a tasting of our olive oils, balsamic vinegars and gourmet salts. Break up the day with a game of ping pong or corn hole while enjoying a bowl of our Cincinnati Chili and all the fixins’. Discounts will be offered on selected Bella Grace wines.

D'Agostini Wines - Join us at D'Agostini for a celebration of Zinfandel with a flight of 4 Zinfandel wines including our sweet style Zinfandel - Zinetta. Enjoy small paired bites prepared by our in-house chef, a meet and greet in the winery with our winemaker so you can learn all about our process here at D'Agostini Wines, as well as special event discounts on all our Zinfandel wines. We can't wait!

Dobra Zemlja Winery - Join us at Dobra Zemlja Winery (meaning ‘good earth’ in Croatian) as we celebrate all things Zinfandel in Amador County’s first wine cave! Enjoy a select flight of our ‘Big Amador Reds, No Lightweights' paired with seasonally inspired mali (‘little’) bites that bring a taste of Croatia to Amador County. Guests will have the opportunity to experience a barrel tasting of an upcoming vintage of our Estate Zinfandel with our winemaker and owner, Milan Matulich. Event exclusive discounts will be offered on select wines.

Driven Cellars - Spring into Zin 2025 at Driven Cellars.

Iron Hub Winery - Join us at Iron Hub Winery for a sweeting greeting to Spring! Savor a delicious pairing of our dessert Zinfandel wine with a sweet dessert - it may melt your cares away! Experience spectacular Sierra views while relaxing on our patio. You may also taste our elegant profile of wines by sampling a wide selection, all handcrafted by our father and son wine making team, Tom and Spencer Jones. A newly released estate grown brandy will also be available. Enjoy special Inner Circle Club member status to receive event discounts on wine and spirit purchases.

Linsteadt Family Winery - Come visit Linsteadt Family Winery during Spring Into Zin where we will be pouring different vintages of our Estate Zinfandels (along with some of our other award-winning reds), and offering barrel tastings of our unique ‘24 Zinfandel from our fifty year old vines. Nothing pairs better with Zinfandel than barbecue! Guests will be served Texas-style BBQ beef brisket sliders.

Rombauer Vineyards - Join us at Rombauer Vineyards for an unforgettable Spring celebration! Delight in an exquisite food pairing crafted by the talented team at Taste Restaurant, perfectly complemented by our featured Zinfandel. Savor the flavors of the season as we pour a selection of our finest wines for you to enjoy on our open, shaded patio. Adding to the ambiance, we are thrilled to present live music by an incredible local band. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Shenandoah Vineyards - Experience three generations of family winemaking at Shenandoah Vineyards. Founded in 1977, the Sobon family has been making many different varietals over the years with Zinfandel being one the most popular. We will be offering small Mediterranean inspired bites to complement your tasting, as well as event exclusive discounts. We hope to see you then.
