Featured Wine at Water Tower Fine Wines: My Favorite Oddball White, Chenin Blanc

This period, we are going to feature Chenin Blanc wines which are found in many parts of the wine world, including the three regions we are featuring. We will have one from South Africa, one from Clarksburg in California and one from Vouvray in France. 

Each of these are different: the South African version is lush with crisp acidity, while the California version is crisp with mineral notes. The Vouvray from the Loire is an off-dry version that is rich with a hint of sweetness and good acid and balance. While each is different, they are all just different expressions of the same versatile grape.
